Start: ASAP

Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference to young people who have struggled to engage with education?
SEND Inclusion Support is working with one of our fantastic partner schools in Oakham to recruit a Humanities Teacher to join their specialist, therapeutic setting for young people with SEMH needs.
The existing teacher will be leaving shortly, so the school is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and provide continuity for pupils.
Importantly, there is also a permanent position available following the initial appointment, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a permanent role.
You will teach Humanities within a therapeutic environment where relationships are at the heart of education.

Experience within an SEMH, specialist or alternative provision setting would be highly desirable, although experienced mainstream teachers with a strong interest in SEND and SEMH are encouraged to apply.
This is a therapeutic school, not a traditional classroom environment.
The staff team take a relationship-led approach and understand that pupils need to feel safe, understood and valued before they can fully engage with learning.
You'll be joining a supportive team where your teaching can have a real impact - and with a permanent position potentially available, there is the opportunity to build something long term.
Apply now for an ASAP start.
