· Support a phased transition towards community-based learning or an appropriate education setting when the learner is ready.

About you

· Experience teaching or tutoring young people with SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety or emotionally based school avoidance.

· Strong relationship-building skills and a patient, non-judgemental approach.

· Confidence adapting curriculum content and teaching methods for 1:1 delivery.

· Good professional boundaries, communication and record-keeping.

· QTS, QTLS or a relevant teaching/tutoring qualification is desirable; substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
