About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Consultant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and stakeholders to analyse business requirements, design technology solutions, and deliver innovative IT strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse client business processes and identify opportunities for technology improvements.
Gather, document, and evaluate technical and business requirements.
Provide professional advice on IT strategy, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and digital transformation initiatives.
Design, develop, and implement IT solutions that meet client and business needs.
Assess existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and security.
Manage and support the delivery of IT projects, ensuring objectives, timelines, and budgets are achieved.
Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation activities.
Prepare technical specifications, reports, user documentation, and implementation plans.
Advise on cybersecurity best practices, data protection requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Provide user training, technical guidance, and post-implementation support.
Monitor emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve business operations.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT consulting, systems analysis, infrastructure, or technology implementation.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, networking, databases, and enterprise applications.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable Skills
Experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, automation tools, and system integration.
Professional certifications relevant to IT consultancy or project delivery.
