Day Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider - Healthcare Environment – Oxford - £43,000
An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Oxford has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Day Shift Engineer to be based in a healthcare building in Oxford. He or she or they will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site, working closely with a senior member of the team and the team on site.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have some experience in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a salary of up to £43,000, overtime, plenty of further training and a potential route into further career progression.
Key duties & Responsibilities
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance
- Lighting: small installs, fault finding, lamping, ballast replacement, power distribution
- Emergency lighting testing
- Maintain AHUs and FCUs (filter changes, cleaning)
- Water temp checks (no chemical dosing)
- Monitor BMS systems and report irregularities
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors
- Keep logbooks updated and attend client meetings when require
Package
- Salary £43,000
- 20 shifts holiday
- Overtime available
- Opportunity for progression
Hours of work
- 3 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on 3 days off
- 07:00 - 19:00
Requirements
- Electrically or Mechanically qualified
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Client Facing
