Summary

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 6 Diagnostic Radiographer to join our dynamic and patient-focused imaging team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and technical expertise across a range of diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring consistently high standards of patient care, image quality, radiation safety and professional practice.

As a senior member of the radiography team, you will be expected to work independently while providing clinical support, guidance and supervision to junior radiographers, students and support staff. You will contribute to the effective day-to-day running of the imaging service, prioritising workload appropriately and responding confidently to complex clinical situations.

You will work closely with radiologists, clinicians and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure an efficient and responsive diagnostic service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, together with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, colleagues and other healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence, quality improvement and professional development. You will be expected to participate in audit, education and service improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining a culture of learning, patient safety and continuous improvement.
