Summary
Job PurposeWe are looking for a Work Experience Administrator who is an excellent communicator, with a keen eye for detail who is proactive and will provide a welcoming, professional and effective service to students and staff ensuring information is recorded and maintained to a high standard.You will play an active role in maintaining records, arranging and collating paperwork, liaising with students and their parents, curriculum staff and employers to ensure paperwork is completed accurately and reporting any issues..To be the first point of contact for students and staff, carrying out an effective triaging process in order to provide appropriate information, identify key issues and ensure that queries are answered or referred appropriately.To respond to queries via the departmental telephone and email address in a timely manner, answering queries and questions. To contact students to confirm and record attendance at their work experience. Key Duties and Responsibilities• Deliver excellent administrative and organisational support to the WEX Team• Ensure all paperwork is recorded into systems and kept fully up to date• Work closely with teachers, students, and employers to maintain accurate records• To support and liaise with a variety of stakeholders including students, staff and employers• Maintain tracking systems in a timely and accurate manner• Be a central point of contact for students to submit their timesheets and respond to any questions• Work collaboratively with the wider Work Experience and Business Development teams• Communicate professionally with key stakeholders using a variety of methods• Contribute to events, presentations and staff training to strengthen the college’s work placement offer• Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and an enthusiasm for helping students succeed in real world environments• Ensure resources and published materials are relevant and up to date on the websites, VLE and noticeboards • Contribute to the areas Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) General1. To be aware of the principles of safeguarding children and young people as they apply to the role with the College. Actively promote and implement the College’s Safeguarding Policy2. To be involved in college staff development and training schemes and participate in PDR procedures within the school3. To adhere to the College's Single Equality Scheme with respect to staff and students and champion inclusion in all practices4. To comply with and implement the College’s Health and Safety policy5. To undertake any other reasonable duties
