Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Care Worker or someone with a background supporting children and young people, Hays Education is currently recruiting part-time SEND support staff to work in specialist education settings across Wolverhampton.With increasing demand from local special schools, we're looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals who can provide valuable support on a flexible basis, whether that's one day a week or several days each week.

What Will You Be Doing?

No two days are the same in a specialist setting. Depending on your experience and the needs of the school, you may be:

Supporting pupils with Autism and additional learning needs

Helping young people develop communication and social skills

Providing classroom support alongside teachers and therapists

Assisting pupils with emotional regulation and behavioural needs

Encouraging independence and confidence throughout the school day

Supporting learning through practical, engaging activities

We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:

Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults

A background in education, care, youth work, residential care or support work

A positive and patient approach

Strong communication skills

An interest in SEND, SEMH or specialist education
