Job Title: Health and Social Care Lecturer

Location: Merseyside

About the Role / Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching T levels and BTEC levels 2 and 3, ensuring students receive an exceptional learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Health and Social Care courses including T levels and BTEC levels 2 and 3.

Develop engaging lesson plans and deliver high-quality instruction.

Assess and support students in achieving their academic goals.

Provide constructive feedback to enhance student learning.

Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.

Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Must be a fully qualified teacher.

Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire students.

Education Requirements:

Degree in Health and Social Care or related field.

Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to obtain one.

Experience Requirements:

Experience teaching in Further Education or similar environments.

Knowledge of curriculum requirements for T levels and BTEC.

Experience in assessing and supporting diverse learners.
