Summary

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic apprentice to join The Butterfly Patch Morden Park and train as an Early Years Educator / Nursery Practitioner.

This is a great opportunity if you want to start a career working with children while gaining a recognised Early Years qualification.

Our Morden Park nursery is a little different from a traditional nursery. We are a hybrid nursery and Forest School, so you’ll spend time both indoors and outdoors, including regular sessions in the beautiful 190-acre Morden Park.

You don’t need previous nursery or Forest School experience. We’re looking for someone who is kind, reliable, willing to learn and genuinely enjoys being around children.

You can work 4 or 5 days per week, while completing your apprenticeship alongside your normal nursery role.

You’ll learn how to support children’s development, play, routines, safeguarding, the EYFS and everyday nursery life, with support from experienced Nursery Practitioners, Room Leaders and our dedicated Forest School team.

We try to keep paperwork sensible and focus on really knowing the children and giving them great experiences.

There are excellent opportunities to progress after your apprenticeship, including permanent Nursery Practitioner roles and future progression across our Butterfly Patch and Mindful Nurseries group.

Childcare discount available for applicants with nursery aged children.
