Are you an experienced Senior Administrator with a background in construction looking for a role where you can take real ownership of a busy regional office?

Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL) is looking for an organised, proactive and confident Senior Administrator to join our team in Mitcham.

This is a varied role where you'll be right at the heart of the regional operation, supporting our contracts and operational teams, coordinating administration and helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

If you know your way around a construction environment and enjoy juggling priorities, keeping people organised and making sure the details are taken care of, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

No two days will be quite the same. You'll work closely with the Regional Manager and wider team, with responsibilities including:

- Keeping the day-to-day administration of the regional office organised and running smoothly

- Supporting and coordinating the administration team, including workloads, holiday and sickness cover

- Managing two Administrators within the wider administration team

- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Regional Manager and senior team

- Maintaining accurate contract files, records and archives

- Liaising with our Buyer and operational teams regarding purchase orders

- Processing delivery notes, plant invoices and supporting documentation

- Providing administrative support across all departments

- Maintaining subcontractor records and ensuring relevant documentation and compliance information is kept up to date

- Coordinating vehicle hire and maintaining accurate records

- Liaising with Payroll and Accounts to provide regional information and documentation

- Coordinating office facilities, supplies, equipment and services

- Preparing reports and operational documentation, including site paperwork, COSHH assessments, security clearances and diaries

- Supporting tender teams with the collation and presentation of information for PQQs and quality submissions

- Supporting, coaching and providing guidance to other members of the administration team

- Working with colleagues across other regional offices to improve processes and find smarter ways of working

What we're looking for

Most importantly, you'll already have administrative experience within the construction sector. This is important because we're looking for someone who understands the pace, terminology and paperwork that comes with working in a construction environment.

You'll also bring:

- Previous experience in a Senior Administrator, Construction Administrator, Contracts Administrator, Office Administrator or similar role

- Experience working within the construction industry

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once

- Experience supporting, coordinating or mentoring other administration team members

- Excellent attention to detail and a naturally organised approach

- Confident written and verbal communication skills

- A collaborative approach when working with colleagues, clients and the supply chain

- Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- An A-Level, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification

Experience handling construction documentation, purchase orders, plant or material invoices, subcontractor records or contract administration would be particularly useful.
