Salary: £29,863.44
Contract: Permanent/Full time-39 hours per week
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team at HMP Highpoint for our Stirling House Training Centre, a Category C and Adult/Male prison.

HMP Highpoint runs like a self-contained city, it takes hundreds of people to keep it functioning, and as the Facilities Maintenance Team we are committed and driving the smooth and safe operation, like a heart that pumps blood through the body, everything we do impacts every prisoner, employee, visitor, and wider to the families and community.
As a Housekeeper, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners and Administrators, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.
You will play an important role in delivering high-quality housekeeping and support services across residential accommodation, meeting and conference facilities, office areas, washrooms, catering environments and communal spaces. Through maintaining clean, safe and welcoming environments, you will help support the daily operation of the site and contribute to a positive experience for all users.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Housekeeper with any combination of:
- Experience working within a cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, or hygiene-critical environment such as healthcare or residential.-Essential
- Basic Food Safety / Hygiene Certificate-Essential
- Understanding of safe working practices, including the use of cleaning chemicals, equipment and COSHH.
- Ability to prioritise routine tasks and manage workload effectively with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment and responding professionally to customer enquiries.
- Cleaning qualification (e.g. BICSc or WAMITAB), or willing to work towards achieving one-Desireable
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

Future Plans.
GFSL has been notified by it's shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
