What You Will Do:
You will help keep property, inspection, maintenance, compliance and asset records accurate and up to date, using the Council’s asset management, GIS, finance and document management systems. A key part of the role will be supporting the day-to-day management of the Council’s property portfolio. You will coordinate enquiries, documentation, diary arrangements, property viewings, access arrangements, key records and routine communications with tenants, occupiers, contractors, agents and colleagues across the Council.
You will also support repairs, maintenance and compliance processes by logging requests, raising and monitoring work orders, liaising with officers and contractors, arranging access, tracking progress and updating records to help ensure works are completed within agreed timescales and budgets.
The role will involve supporting property-related financial administration, including obtaining quotations where required, raising and managing purchase orders, receipting invoices, resolving queries and maintaining accurate budget records for property costs such as repairs, maintenance, utilities and service charges.
