ROLE: Multiskilled Engineer - HVAC BiasHOURS: 40 hours per weekLOCATION: Birmingham

We're looking for an experienced Multiskilled Engineer with an HVAC bias to join our growing Facilities Management team, supporting a portfolio of high-profile retail sites across Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy and delivering first-class service while maintaining critical building services equipment.

Role Responsibilities:

-Maintain, service and repair HVAC and associated building services equipment across retail and commercial environments.

-Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on HVAC, mechanical and building services systems.

-Diagnose faults, identify root causes and implement effective repairs to minimise downtime and ensure operational continuity.

-Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to client queries and keeping stakeholders informed of all site activities.

-Oversee statutory compliance works and supervise contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring all works are completed safely and to the highest standards.

-Complete all work-related documentation accurately and within required timescales.

Required Qualifications:Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

-City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent, in a relevant engineering discipline.

-Proven experience within a maintenance, facilities management or building services environment.

-Strong HVAC and mechanical maintenance experience within commercial environments.

-Strong UK industry experience with a sound understanding of Health & Safety legislation and statutory compliance requirements.

-Full UK driving licence.

-Ability to manually handle tools and equipment up to 20kg, work at height and safely use vertical access equipment.
