Summary
EHR Team in Digital Healthcare
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the UCLH Electronic Health Record (EHR) Team within our Patient Access & Flow (PA&F) Team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join us to initially support our Patient Self-Scheduling via MyCareUCLH (MyChart) Programme. On completion, you will join the wider PA&F Team to continue delivering digital improvements and supporting the Trust’s evolving service requirements.
We are seeking someone with a strong interest and experience in digital healthcare and is Epic Certified.
At UCLH, patients are at the heart of everything we do. Our Epic EHR system plays a vital role in improving care by providing staff and patients with seamless access to information and enabling services and treatment pathways to be designed around patient needs.
Patient Self-Scheduling is a key part of our digital transformation programme, supporting our vision of a digitally enabled organisation that delivers efficient, effective and patient-centred care.
Why join us?
Digital healthcare is a rapidly evolving field, using innovative technology to enhance patient care, improve staff experiences and create more streamlined pathways. As demand for skilled Digital Health professionals continues to grow, this is an exciting opportunity to develop your career while making a meaningful difference.
If you are passionate about digital transformation and want to help shape the future of patient care at UCLH, we would love to hear from you.
The post holder will initially be part of a dedicated team responsible for the design, configuration and testing of the Patient Self-Scheduling programme and the pre-requisite build of transitioning from DEP to SER-based clinic code structure. Working alongside the EHR Deputy Delivery Manager and Training & Adoption colleagues, they will establish strong relationships with departmental leads, super-users, and subject matter experts to assess current-state booking and MyCare workflows and contribute to shaping the future-state design and successful programme delivery.
They will support the Deputy Delivery Manager in executing project plans, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to governance frameworks, quality standards, and agile methodologies. Regular engagement with clinicians and operational managers will be key to analysing service needs, defining clinical best practices, optimising workflows, and aligning system enhancements with Trust strategic objectives.
Candidates who do not hold Cadence/MyChart Certifications will be provided with training and are expected to achieve certification or proficiency within their six-month probation period.
This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of one day on-site per fortnight, with flexibility to attend more frequently based on business needs, making it suitable for staff seeking a hybrid working opportunity
