Summary

Assistant Centre Manager role for a growing automotive service centre, suited to an experienced automotive professional with strong customer service, team leadership and operational skills. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a strong salary package, bonus potential and excellent training and career development benefits.

Must have a valid MOT licence and a full UK driving licence.

Location: Matlock

Pay / salary: Up to £36,000 basic per annum

Job type: Permanent / full-time role

Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm; 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:30am – 4pm, with a day off in the week

Skills and experience

- Proven experience in an automotive assistant manager, supervisor or senior technician role

- City & Guilds, NVQ or other relevant technical qualification

Job responsibilities for the Assistant Centre Manager role

- Support the Centre Manager with day-to-day running of the centre, ensuring targets and business objectives are met

- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring customers are dealt with promptly and professionally

- Allocate work effectively to technicians to maximise productivity and maintain high standards

- Maintain strong operational standards, including cleanliness, stock control, cost control and compliance

- Assist with MOT testing, servicing and vehicle maintenance duties when required
