Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected multi-franchise car dealer group established across Southwest England, for a Vehicle Technician in Salisbury. - Starting salary between £32,000 and £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

- Uncapped performance-related bonus scheme, with an on-target earnings of approximately £39,800+ per year.

Duties:

- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs as instructed, ensuring work complies with manufacturer standards.

- Accurately diagnose faults and report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance issues to the Workshop Controller.

- Adhere to quality standards and health & safety procedures laid down by the client and manufacturer.

- Maintain a high standard of workmanship within a busy main dealer environment.

- Work effectively as part of a team to meet targets and customer expectations.

- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through manufacturer training.

- Hold a valid UK driving licence.

- Possession of an active MOT Smart Card is highly advantageous but not essential.

Requirements:

- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership.

- Commitment to delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.

- Motivated team player capable of working to deadlines.

- Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, repair, and servicing processes.

- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
