Its activities support the movement and handling of goods across the UK and international trade routes, with a focus on dependable transport and logistics solutions.The roleWe are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to support afternoon trunking work from the Chepstow area. This is a temporary opportunity suited to a professional driver who is reliable, safety-conscious and confident working independently.Key responsibilities• Carry out trunking and scheduled transport duties• Complete vehicle checks before and after shifts• Secure loads safely and carry out deliveries or collections as instructed• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately• Follow road safety, transport and site procedures• Maintain professional communication with transport teams and site contactsSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence, Category C+E• Driver CPC and digital tachograph entitlement• Previous trunking or general HGV driving experience• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and road safety requirements• Reliable, punctual and professional approach• Ability to work afternoon shifts and follow schedules• Good communication and basic paperwork skillsBenefits• £18.00 to £19.00 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employers• Temporary work in the Chepstow areaIf you are an experienced Class 1 Driver seeking reliable afternoon trunking work, apply today.
