Its wider branch network supports trade customers across England, Scotland and Wales through local stock, collection and delivery services.The roleAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities are likely to include:• Completing local and regional deliveries safely and on time• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects• Loading, securing and unloading goods in line with safety procedures• Completing delivery paperwork accurately• Maintaining a professional and helpful approach at customer locations• Working closely with the branch and warehouse teams• Following company, transport and road safety requirementsSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 licence• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• Digital tachograph card• Previous commercial driving or delivery experience• Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks• Ability to handle goods safely and work to delivery schedules• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused approach• Good communication and organisational skillsThis Role: Monday - FridayWeekly pay 07:00am - 1600pm 1 - 2 Local deliveries per day Benefits• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersThis is a days-based temporary driving role in Glasgow, offering regular work for a suitably qualified HGV Class 2 Driver.Apply today.
