You will support the safe and efficient movement of materials across the site, helping warehouse and production operations run smoothly during day shifts.Key responsibilities• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and responsibly• Load, unload and move timber, flooring materials and other goods• Store products securely and accurately• Prepare materials for dispatch and internal movement• Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any issues• Follow site safety procedures and manual handling guidance• Keep work areas tidy and support general warehouse duties• Work cooperatively with colleagues across the siteSkills and qualifications• Previous counterbalance forklift experience• A current recognised counterbalance forklift licence or certificate• Good awareness of workplace health and safety• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately• Reliable, punctual and willing to support the wider team• Physically able to undertake warehouse and materials-handling duties• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or timber environment would be usefulAbout the companyThis Bristol-based, family-run timber flooring business supplies sustainable, high-quality wood flooring and related services.
