Summary
Warehouse & Yard Operative
We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Operative with Forklift Certifications to support the efficient running of our warehouse and yard.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Receive, pick, prepare, load and store stock safely and accurately.
- Maintain stock accuracy and complete stock checks.
- Load and unload vehicles.
- Provide excellent service to customers collecting or returning goods.
- Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organised and safe.
- Carry out forklift and equipment checks and report any issues.
- Follow all company, Health & Safety and compliance procedures.
- Support the wider branch team as required.
Requirements:
- Forklift Truck Licence - essential.
- Good attention to detail and communication skills.
- Basic IT and numeracy skills.
- Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team.
- Warehouse/yard experience and Reach Truck Licence desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence desirable.
This is a hands-on role involving manual handling, indoor/outdoor working and the safe operation of warehouse equipment.
Pay Rate:
- £12.74 per hour.
Shift Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 08:00-17:30
