Summary

Tax Operations Analyst, EMEA | Remote, UK | Full Time | Temporary | £40,000–£60,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a one-hour unpaid break

They help clients recover more tax at a lower cost, enhancing their investment returns.

The Role

You will be a detail-oriented and analytical Tax Operations Analyst to support the Tax Operations team with the processing of dividend withholding tax reclaims across multiple jurisdictions, as well as other reclaim types when required.

The role involves preparing, reviewing and submitting tax reclaims while ensuring compliance with local tax authority requirements and internal controls.

This is a fully remote role within the UK, with occasional company days held in London.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax reclaims across various global markets

• Review dividend event data and validate tax rates applied

• Reconcile reclaimable amounts against custodian and portfolio records

• Prepare supporting documentation, including dividend vouchers, tax forms, residency certificates and powers of attorney

• Complete reclaim forms in accordance with jurisdiction-specific requirements

• Track submission deadlines and monitor reclaim status

• Maintain organised electronic and physical filing systems

• Ensure documentation meets regulatory and tax authority standards

• Support responses to follow-up queries from custodians, tax agents or authorities

• Assist in updating internal trackers and reporting

• Perform data entry and validation in internal tax systems

• Support periodic reporting of reclaim balances and outstanding receivables

• Assist in calculating expected recoveries and identifying discrepancies

• Help maintain process documentation and procedure manuals

• Identify inefficiencies in reclaim workflows

• Assist in automation initiatives

• Contribute to improving controls and reducing processing errors

• Handle ad-hoc requests

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
