Are you an experiencedchildren’s therapy clinician with strong operational leadership skills? Are youpassionate aboutimproving access totimelyenquiries, advice and support forchildren, young people,familiesand partners? 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Enquiries, Advice and Support (EAS) Operational Lead to join Children and Young People’s Integrated Therapies (CYPIT). This role will provide day-to-day operational leadership for the CYPITwideEAS service. 

You will work closely with CYPIT service leads, professional leads,cliniciansand early help partners to coordinate delivery, support service improvement and ensure children, young people and families receive clear,consistentand responsive advice and support. 

This is a varied leadership role for someone who can combine clinical knowledge, effective people management, data-informed service planning and partnership working to support safe,high-qualityand accessible children’s therapy services. 

You will also contribute to the development of our online early help offer, training webinars and information about how to access CYPIT support, helping to strengthen early intervention and improve the experience of families and referrers. 

The post holder maybe requiredto travel across Trust premises to meet service needs, with the base to be confirmed. 

This is afull timerole, part-time considered. 

• Provide day-to-day operational management of the CYPIT EAS service. 

• Linemanagedefined staff, supporting recruitment, induction, appraisal, sicknessabsenceand performance in line with Trust policies. 

• Plan,coordinateand evaluate service delivery, using performance information, audit and outcome measures to support improvement and ensure targets are met. 

• Work with CYPIT leaders, clinicians and partners to develop consistent pathways, reduceriskand improve quality and clinical effectiveness. 

• Contribute to the development of online early help information, training webinars and guidance about referrals and support available. 

• Represent the service at internal and external meetings andmaintaineffective links with early help partners. 

• Hold a clinical caseload whererequiredand deputise for CYPIT service leads as needed.

The “must haves” for this role: 

1.           A recognised AHP qualification, HCPC registration and post-graduate education relevant to the clinical area of the post. 

2.           In-depth experience of clinical work within children’s services, with the ability to apply sound clinical knowledge to support service delivery andadviseothers. 

3.           Evidence of leadership, including staff management, supervision or mentoring, service development, projectdeliveryor leading change in practice. 

4.           Strong communication, partnership working and organisational skills, with experience of using data,auditor outcome measures to inform service planning and improvement.
