We are currently recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and specialist education setting in East London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who understands that some pupils need a different approach to learning. You will work with young people who may have social, emotional and mental health needs, alongside behavioural challenges and barriers to accessing education.
The successful candidate will be confident, patient and resilient, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils who may have had difficult experiences within education. You will play an important role in helping pupils regulate their emotions, manage behaviour and re-engage with learning.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs
