Primary SEN Teaching Assistant | Greenwich | Full Time

A Primary School located in Greenwich is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with children with Special Education Needs (SEN) committed to helping pupils thrive both academically and personally.

The successful candidate will work with KS2 pupils, supporting children with a range of the following SEN:

- Verbal or non-verbal

- Autism / ASD

- ADHD

- Genetic, developmental and additional needs

- Epilepsy

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Job Description

- Work closely with teachers, therapists and specialist staff to deliver tailored support

- Available to start ASAP

- £105 - £120 a day

- Long Term, Full time

- Located in the Borough of Greenwich

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Person Specification

- Caring, patient and compassionate, with a passion for supporting pupils with SEN.

- Confident supporting children with different communication styles and needs.

- Calm, adaptable and resilient, with a positive approach to challenges.

- Creative and enthusiastic, with a focus on making learning engaging.

- Experience with Autism, ADHD or complex needs is desirable, but not essential.

- Committed to safeguarding, pupil wellbeing and inclusion.

- Respectful of and willing to support the school's Jewish ethos and values.
