The Opportunity

We are supporting a PAS 2035 retrofit contractor delivering Warm Homes schemes across London, Essex and Kent to recruit

Retrofit Assessors.

You will carry out PAS 2035 retrofit assessments in occupied homes, producing complete assessment packs and providing accurate information to support the wider retrofit process.

The role involves regular travel across London, Essex and Kent, visiting residents' homes and working closely with Retrofit Coordinators and Designers.

  • Location: On the road across London, Essex and Kent

  • Salary: £35,000 per year

  • Company car provided

  • Hours: Full time

  • Full UK driving licence required
  • DBS check required, or willingness to obtain one
  • 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension, CPD and training provided

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PAS 2035 retrofit assessments in occupied homes.
  • Produce RdSAP energy assessments.
  • Produce accurate floor plans.
  • Complete condition, occupancy and ventilation assessments.
  • Compile and submit complete assessment packs on time.
  • Lodge assessments where required.
  • Respond to queries from Retrofit Coordinators and Retrofit Designers.
  • Maintain accurate assessment information and documentation.
  • Attend booked appointments and manage time effectively.
  • Communicate politely and professionally with residents.
  • Work safely and professionally when visiting occupied homes.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified
  • Retrofit Assessor.

  • Qualified
  • Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA).

  • Current membership of an accreditation scheme such as
  • Elmhurst, Quidos, Stroma or ECMK.

  • Experience completing
  • PAS 2035 retrofit assessments.

  • Experience producing RdSAP energy assessments and associated assessment documentation.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to travel across London, Essex and Kent.
  • Professional and courteous approach when working with residents.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to complete assessment packs within deadlines.
  • DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience delivering assessments on grant-funded retrofit schemes.
  • Experience working with Retrofit Coordinators and Retrofit Designers.
  • Experience working in occupied residential properties.
  • Knowledge of Warm Homes programmes or similar funded retrofit schemes.
