Summary

About this Role

Aspire Academy is a large Alternative Provision in Hull, working with young people who have found mainstream education difficult. Many of our students arrive with complex needs, including a growing number with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and significant social, emotional and mental health needs.

We are a school on a journey. We have a clear vision and a committed staff team, and we now want to strengthen our senior leadership with someone who will lead the culture our young people experience every day.

This is a new post. It sits alongside our existing AVP for Behaviour and Attendance, so that each leader has the focus and capacity to make a real difference. The AVP for Community and Culture will oversee attitudes to learning, pastoral support and the day-to-day climate of the school.
