Summary
Process incoming mail and distribute as necessary on a daily basis. Scanning of patient information into the patients electronic record, eg, physio reports, scan results, blood results promptly and accurately. To type clinical notes, pre op notes and ward notes accurately through audio transcription distributing as necessary to the relevant healthcare professions and patients. This work involves a significant use of the Trusts computer systems. Maintaining the diagnostic waiting list to include printing off results and updating the diagnostic waiting list. Up-dating patients details on the CareFlow system ensuring accuracy. Checking patients appointments and waiting list entries on the CareFlow system Answering incoming telephone calls as well as carrying out external telephone calls The use of photocopy and fax machines
