Concept Resources are currently recruiting for 2 experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers to provide immediate support across a large healthcare Hard FM contract in Kent.

The contract covers approximately 140 healthcare sites across Kent, with larger sites typically having teams of 2–3 engineers providing on-site support.

This is a temporary requirement supporting the existing engineering team due to current vacancies, sickness and holiday cover. There is also the possibility of overtime, out-of-hours cover and weekend work where required and mutually agreed.

Duties

Carrying out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance

Diagnosing electrical faults and completing repairs to minimise downtime

Inspecting electrical installations and equipment

Maintaining control panels, motors, transformers and switchgear

Maintaining electrical distribution systems and associated equipment

Installing, testing, commissioning and modifying electrical equipment where required

Monitoring equipment performance and identifying opportunities to improve reliability

Maintaining and troubleshooting control systems, instrumentation and automation equipment where applicable

Responding to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements

Completing maintenance schedules and work orders

Maintaining accurate maintenance and inspection records

Working with operations teams and external contractors during maintenance activities

Carrying out appropriate risk assessments

Ensuring safe electrical isolation procedures are followed

Ensuring electrical tools and testing equipment are used and maintained correctly

Working in accordance with relevant electrical regulations, engineering standards and health and safety requirements

Supporting continuous improvement across the contract
