Summary
About the Role
Infinity Care is looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Home Care Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to clients in their own homes.
This is a community-based role where you will travel between clients and provide support according to their individual needs, wishes and Person-Centred Care Plan.
You do not need to have previous care experience to apply. Full training, induction and ongoing support will be provided, including shadowing an experienced care worker before working independently.
What You'll Be Doing
Your role will involve supporting clients to remain safe, comfortable and as independent as possible in their own homes.
Personal Care:
Supporting clients with getting up and going to bed
Washing, bathing, showering and toileting
Dressing and undressing
Continence support
Skin and hair care
Supporting clients with medication where required
Providing respectful and dignified personal care
Domestic Support:
Making and changing beds
Laundry and ironing
Washing dishes
Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
General household cleaning
Supporting clients with shopping
Helping to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
Social & Community Support:
Providing companionship and helping clients maintain social contact
Supporting clients with shopping trips
Helping with appointments
Accompanying clients to clubs, day centres and activities
Supporting clients when attending medical appointments
Accompanying clients on day trips and outings
Food & Nutrition:
Helping with menu planning
Preparing meals and drinks
Supporting good food hygiene practices
Providing assistance with nutrition in line with individual care requirements
Monitoring food and fluid intake where required
Care & Communication:
Following each client's Person-Centred Care Plan
Communicating regularly with the office and care team
Reporting changes in a client's needs or wellbeing
Following risk assessments and health and safety procedures
Taking part in care plan reviews and quality assurance activities
Liaising with healthcare professionals and other agencies when required
Providing appropriate information and support to clients and their representatives
Practical & Financial Support:
Helping clients with correspondence
Supporting clients with using the telephone
Assisting with paying bills where this forms part of their agreed care plan

Important Information:
This is a community-based home care role, so you will be required to travel between clients in their own homes.
