A globally recognised organisation is seeking a qualified accountant to join its Group Finance function. Your new role

Reporting into the Group Finance team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely group financial reporting across a multinational business. Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and preparing the monthly group consolidation process
  • Raising consolidation journals and reviewing consolidated reporting outputs
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual statutory accounts and group reporting disclosures
  • Providing technical accounting guidance across the finance function, including IFRS research and application
  • Managing relationships with external auditors and coordinating audit requests
  • Taking ownership of a portfolio of UK and overseas entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance
  • Supporting month-end close activities and helping drive continuous improvement of financial reporting processes
  • Becoming a key user of financial reporting and consolidation systems, providing support to wider finance teams

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with up-to-date IFRS expertise
  • Experience of multinational group consolidations
  • Previous audit experience, either in practice or industry
  • Strong financial reporting and statutory accounting experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to financial control
  • Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance
