Summary

We are representing a reputable and independent automotive service centre in Bromyard that is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. The successful Vehicle Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently

- Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance to manufacturers' standards

- Ensuring work is completed within agreed timeframes

- Reporting on vehicle conditions, safety, and performance to the Workshop Manager

- Adhering to Health & Safety regulations and work procedures at all times

- Maintaining high standards of work quality in a busy workshop environment

- Supporting team members and contributing to a positive team atmosphere

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- Relevant experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy workshop environment

- Formal qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) is highly advantageous but not essential if extensive practical experience is demonstrated

- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points

- Good team player with a committed attitude

- Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure

- Hold or be willing to obtain a Class 4 and Class 7 MOT testing licence (full training provided if necessary)
