Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Knowledge & Experience

Experience of quality teaching and learning within a school setting

Excellent subject knowledge and current curriculum developments

Knowledge and experience that equip the candidate to teach History lessons in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Experience of proactive parental engagement to foster pupil success

Experience of preparing students for examinations and of raising student attainment and progress

Skills

Demonstrate a clear understanding of the elements that contribute to effective teaching and learning and the ability to plan and deliver lessons accordingly

Effective classroom management skills

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students and parents

Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities

Enthusiastic, flexible and proactive approach
