Summary

Gi Group Scunthorpe is currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a dynamic and fast-paced team at a cold store facility in Hemswell. If you're reliable, hardworking, and ready for a role with great hours and regular opportunities for overtime, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Location:

* Gainsborough - own transport required due to site location.

Hours of work as a Warehouse Operative: Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 16:30

* Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00 (1 in every 3 Saturdays).

* Regular overtime available.

Pay Rate:

* £13 per hour, increasing to £14ph after probation.

* £14.25ph for any candidates holding an in date / valid Reach FLT license

What you'll be doing as a Warehouse Operative:

As part of the warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations. Key responsibilities include:

* Picking and assembling customer orders accurately for storage and dispatch.

* Performing heavy lifting (up to 25kg) and manual handling tasks while adhering to health and safety procedures.

* Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.

* Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if required).

* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

* Supporting with stock checks and inventory management.

* Have previous warehouse experience (preferred but not essential).

* Hold a valid forklift licence (advantageous but not required - training can be provided).
