Edinburgh City Centre - Independent Luxury Hotel

Chef de Partie required

Working in this exquisite, city centre, hotel-based kitchen delivering modern Scottish dishes using local produce across the menu. You'll take shared ownership of day-to-day culinary operations on your section, maintaining standards and working as a proficient team, working alongside an established Head Chef.

Offer details

This Hotel Chef de Partie role is based in city centre Edinburgh, comes with a starting salary of £34k plus tronc dividends and a 4day working week. Multiple non-monetary perks.

The Role itself

- Work closely with the Senior Chef Team you will be bringing energy, creativity, and attention to detail to every plate.

- Take charge of the day-to-day given section, making sure prep, cooking, and service are adhered to.

- Get involved in menu ideas, using fresh, seasonal ingredients and adding your own creative flair.

- Keep on top of stock, ordering, and inventory so your section is always set up for success.

- Make sure every dish goes out looking and tasting great, maintaining consistently high standards.

- Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and fully compliant with all food hygiene and health & safety practices.

- Step up during busy services, supporting the Head Chef and making sure the team is running at its best when it matters most.

You, the Chef de Partie

- You love food, enjoy being creative, and take pride in delivering great dishes every time.

- You're organised, good with your time, and comfortable handling stock, ordering, and general section admin.

- You've got a great eye for detail and care about keeping standards high across the board.

- You're hands-on and happy to jump in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly.

- You know your way around food hygiene and health & safety, and take it seriously.
