Working closely with an outsourced payroll provider, you will manage end-to-end payroll and benefits administration, maintain compliance with UK and Irish legislation, support employee lifecycle activities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR and payroll processes. Offering significant scope for professional development and increased responsibility, this role provides the chance to play a key part in supporting employees and driving operational excellence.

Your new role

You will independently manage the end-to-end monthly payroll and benefits administration for UK and Ireland employees, working closely with the outsourced payroll provider, ADP.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing monthly payroll changes and reconciling payroll reports
  • Resolving payroll queries and discrepancies
  • Ensuring compliance with PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and statutory payments
  • Managing pension auto-enrolment and employee benefits
  • Maintaining accurate employee data across HR systems
  • Producing HR reports covering headcount, turnover and absence
  • Supporting employee onboarding, offboarding and statutory leave
  • Preparing employment contracts, variation letters and other documentation
  • Identifying opportunities to improve payroll and HR processes

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will have previous experience in a payroll position, with the confidence to take ownership of your workload.
  • Knowledge of UK and Irish payroll legislation and statutory requirements
  • Experience using payroll systems, ideally ADP
  • Experience with HR systems, preferably SuccessFactors or SAP is advantageous
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Complete discretion when handling confidential information
  • A collaborative, reliable and proactive approach

What you'll get in return

  • Salary offered: £40,000 - £45,000
  • Pension - Employer contribution 7% (varies on years of service). After 5 years, it goes up.
  • Hybrid working: 3 days office, 2 home
