Recovery Coordinator - Non-Opiate

3-month temporary contract

Full-time | Monday-Friday

Pay Rate - Dependent on Direct Recovery Experience

Less than 12 months: £16-£18 per hour (Umbrella)

1-3 years: £18-£20 per hour (Umbrella)

3+ years: Up to

£22 per hour (Umbrella)

We're currently recruiting for an experienced

Recovery Coordinator to join a busy substance misuse service in

Croydon, supporting individuals whose treatment needs are focused around

non-opiate substance use.

Key responsibilities:

Managing an allocated caseload of service users

Completing screening, assessments and recovery plans

Providing structured 1-to-1 key work and psychosocial interventions

Supporting individuals with non-opiate substance use and related needs

Providing harm reduction, health education and relapse prevention support

Completing risk assessments and safeguarding

Coordinating onward referrals and wider support packages

Working with health, mental health, criminal justice and community services

Supporting service users to build recovery capital and achieve sustainable outcomes

Maintaining accurate case records and treatment documentation

We're looking for:

✅ Previous experience within

substance misuse / drug and alcohol services

✅ Direct experience supporting people with

non-opiate substance use

✅ Experience with assessments, recovery planning and risk management

✅ Strong key-working and motivational interviewing skills

✅ Knowledge of harm reduction and recovery-focused practice

✅ Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills

✅ A non-judgemental and person-centred approach
