As an Active Health Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals achieve their fitness and health goals. You will work with clients referred by healthcare professionals to build personalised exercise programs tailored to their specific needs. Your expertise will guide them through their fitness journey, ensuring they are motivated and successfully carry out the plans you compose.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Develop and deliver individualised exercise programs for referred clients based on their health assessments and fitness goals

- Conduct initial consultations and assessments to determine clients' fitness levels and health conditions

- Monitor and track clients' progress, adjusting programs as needed to ensure efficient outcomes

- Provide outstanding support and encouragement to clients, encouraging a positive and inclusive environment

- Partner with healthcare professionals to provide an all-encompassing approach to clients' health and well-being

- Maintain accurate records of clients' progress and communicate effectively with other team members

REQUIREMENTS

●      Demonstrated experience as an Active Health Coordinator or in a comparable position within the sports or recreation sector

●      Relevant qualifications in exercise science, personal training, or a related field

●      Solid knowledge of health conditions, exercise prescription, and the capability to customise programs to meet individuals' needs

●      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage clients

●      Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

●      Enthusiastic, positive, and determined attitude
