Summary

Health & Safety Advisor

Experienced Health & Safety Advisor required in the South Coast to join an industry leading Tier 1 Contractor as they expand their existing Health & Safety team. As Health & Safety Advisor you will work across an array of projects across the Commercial sector, including Health Care, Education, MOJ & MOD on projects valuing up to £100m.

About the role of Health & Safety Advisor

As Health & Safety Advisor you will oversee up to 8 projects throughout the region, covering across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire & Surrey. Preferably you will have experience within a main contractor and previous involvement working on similar value schemes.

Responsibilities for Health & Safety Advisor

Drive and implement Health & Safety Standards and best practice throughout sites and the wider business.

Responsible for monitoring compliance in line with legal, client and company requirements

Regularly conduct site inspections and providing support, knowledge and preventative measures.

Requirements for Health & Safety Advisor

Previous experience supporting Health & Safety delivery within construction

Strong understanding & knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001

NEBOSH Diploma & IOSH Membership is desirable
