Summary
Job OverviewThis is a Front Desk role providing Personnel support to all at MoD Corsham, including lodger units and their associated communities.
Job Title: Clerical Services Administrator Rate of Pay: £26,300 per annum Position Type: PermanentType of Employment: Full TimeHours: 37.5 hours per weekShift Pattern: Monday to Friday (8:30am-5:00pm)Location: MoD Corsham, Building 420, Corsham, Wiltshire, England SN13 9ET Main Duties
Manage personnel administration for all individuals within the assigned HR Section, including maintaining records, updating JPA/computer systems, and ensuring personnel documentation is current and compliant.
Process routine HR activities and enquiries, including pay and allowances queries, general applications, promotions (LAC to SAC), ID cards, temporary duty, family circumstance changes, absences, travel claims, and other personnel administration matters.
Coordinate postings, attachments, deployments and terminations, ensuring all relevant check sheets, paperwork, welfare requirements and preparation activities are completed accurately and on time.
Support operational readiness by preparing personnel for deployments, PPA/EAW roles, maintaining Operational Stress Management records, and ensuring compliance with current deployment and training regulations.
Manage documentation, correspondence and records, including preparing routine internal and external correspondence, extracting management information, maintaining personnel files, and ensuring all paperwork is accurately filed and retained.
Provide administrative support to the wider JSAU team, including booking travel, managing Spec Cat forms, covering other HR Clerks' duties when required, ensuring allowances are correctly actioned, and undertaking any additional duties necessary for the efficient running of JSAU.

-Professional, detail-oriented, and quality-focused, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high standards are maintained across all administrative activities.
