English Teacher - Temp to Perm

Shipston-on-Stour | Full-Time | Temp to Perm | QTS Required

Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Shipston-on-Stour area to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher for a full-time temp-to-perm opportunity.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified English specialist who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and helping students achieve their full potential across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is looking for a teacher who can make an immediate impact and become a long-term member of their team.

The Role

Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4

Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the national curriculum

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Support students of varying abilities to achieve strong academic outcomes

Work collaboratively with colleagues within the English department

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Has recent experience teaching English within a UK secondary school

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Confident in delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons

Committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress

Looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position
