Summary

We are currently in the process of redeveloping the hospital to provide a new state-of-the-art hospital for the residents of Hillingdon, and beyond, which supports the very best in delivery of healthcare and will be fit for our future.

The post holder will contribute to the delivery of high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare to patients by providing an administrative servicefocused on the patient and their individual needs. The Senior Patient Administrator will provideeffective and efficient administrative support to a team liaising with patients, doctors and other healthcare professionals. The staff member will work consistently to provide high quality customer service and will be professional at all times.
Provide high-quality administrative support to the Urology team.
Coordinate appointments, investigations, results, and patient pathways.
Monitor cancer and RTT targets, escalating delays or capacity concerns.
Act as a key contact for patients, carers, clinicians, GPs, and other services.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical correspondence.
Support efficient clinic operations and assist with training and service improvement.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
