GR Employment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Courier Driver based at Victoria Business Park, Roche.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and customer-focused driver to join a leading logistics operation. The role offers regular full-time hours, weekly pay, ongoing support, and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced and rewarding delivery environment.

About the Role
As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of shipments across your designated route. Acting as a frontline representative of the business, you will ensure customers receive a professional, efficient, and friendly service at all times.
This is a multi-drop delivery role where you will be measured on customer satisfaction, delivery performance, and the successful completion of time-sensitive deliveries and collections.
The role requires excellent organisation, strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. You must be flexible, as you may occasionally be required to support alternative routes to meet operational requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and collect shipments safely, accurately, and on time.Complete multi-drop delivery and collection routes efficiently.Accurately scan and process shipments using handheld technology.Maintain excellent customer service standards at all times.Follow planned routes and schedules whilst adapting to changing priorities.Ensure all shipments are handled safely and securely.Complete all delivery records and paperwork accurately.Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects immediately.Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and management.Support operational requirements and alternative routes when required.Comply with all company procedures, road traffic legislation, and health and safety requirements.What We're Looking ForFull UK Driving Licence.Previous multi-drop delivery or courier experience is preferred; however, applicants with relevant delivery driving experience will also be considered.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Strong planning, time-management, and organisational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.Good attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to make sound decisions and work effectively under pressure.Security training will be provided where required.Driving RequirementsHold a valid Full UK Driving Licence.Be legally entitled to drive in the UK.Have the right to work in the UK.Due to the client's motor insurance requirements, applicants must meet the insurer's eligibility criteria, which currently include being aged 21 or over.Have no more than 6 live penalty points on their driving licence.Have no unspent major motoring convictions.Successfully complete any required driving licence, identity, reference, and background checks.Physical Requirements
This role may involve:
Frequent vehicle entry and exit throughout the day.Manual handling duties.Lifting, carrying, and moving parcels.Working to strict delivery schedules and deadlines.Standing and walking for extended periods.Security Screening Requirements
