Summary

Contribute to strategic planning, identifying interdependencies across projects/functions, potential impacts on wider organisation, and resource requirements. Develop and maintain strong communications links with key stakeholders, including project management groups, conveying complex issues and negotiating desired outcomes. Work flexibly as a member of the R&D management team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service, leading and managing R&D policy and service developments as required, as dictated by local and national governance frameworks. Operate effectively in a political, demanding, and sensitive environment and proactively engage with NHS staff, clinicians and internal and external contractors. Deputise for the Chief Investigator/Head of R&D as required. Participate in in local/regional and national implementation forums to ensure dissemination of best practice.
