THE ROLE

As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are returned to customers safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

·Carrying out vehicle inspections, servicing and repairs

·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

·Using diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults

·Working to manufacturer repair and servicing guidelines

·Keeping the Service Team updated on vehicle progress

·Clearly explaining technical issues and completed work where required

·Maintaining accurate repair records and documentation

·Working efficiently while maintaining excellent workmanship

·Supporting other technicians during busy periods

·Identifying and reporting any safety concerns

·Maintaining high standards of workshop cleanliness and safety

·Keeping technical knowledge and skills up to date

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic with:

·Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

·Proven experience within the automotive industry

·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability

·Good mechanical and technical knowledge

·Ability to explain technical information clearly

·Strong attention to detail

·Customer-focused approach

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·Professional, honest and reliable approach

·Full UK driving licence

·MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential

·Previous main dealer experience would be advantageous
