Introduction:

A lovely, committed, patient, caring and flexible Personal Assistant is required to support a 5 year old girl who has Autism. Taking her out in the community to enjoy her favourite activities such as swimming, soft play, meals out, trips to the park and relaxing at home.

Hours are to be worked flexibly as required and agreed in advance, most likely 2 hours a day and spread over the weekend.

This post is funded through the Direct Payments scheme and is intended to enable me to manage my support with the assistance of a PA, enabling me to live an independent lifestyle. Must have own transport and a full, clean driving licence and be DBS checked (which can be arranged).

Main Duties:

• Support and encourage her with activities of interest.

• Supporting her needs while out in the community and within her home

• Ensure her safety at all times during your working period.

• Become a friend and engage in conversations.

• Local to the area would be beneficial

Benefits

5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro rata).

Sick pay at SSP rate, if eligible.
