Summary

Are you a compassionate team player with a passion for supporting clinical teams and delivering exceptional service? We are looking for a highly organisedMedical Secretaryto join our Children & Young Peoples support services team (also know as CAMHS) to provide vital administrative support to consultant psychiatrists, junior doctors, and healthcare staff. 

The role is based at Hunter House, part of The Railings in Rugby with occasional cross cover to support staff in other locations (inc Stratford,

Rugby and Coventry). The ability to travel independently between the sites is a requirement of the role & travel between sites during the working

day will be reimbursed via e-expenses. 

We are a team committed toexcellence,respect, andintegrity. As a key first point of contact, you will help ensure smooth day-to-day work, manage clinics and correspondence, and coordinate a wide range of tasks.

Workingcollaborativelywith the Senior Admin Lead and wider admin team, you'll offer support to junior staff, uphold confidentiality, and support the consistent delivery of high-quality patient care.

§ Deliver a professional and confidential secretarial service to medical staff

§ Manage diaries, clinic bookings, and patient follow-up appointments

§ Assist the Senior Admin Lead in coordinating work to support staff to ensure efficient workflow

§ Liaise with patients, service users, and stakeholders in a compassionate and respectful manner

§ Support the coordination of medical rotas and meetings

§ Handle sensitive information with the utmost integrity and discretion

§ Experience in a medical secretary or similar admin role

§ Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills

§ Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and use initiative
