As Room Leader, you'll take responsibility for creating a happy, well-organised room, leading your team and ensuring high-quality Early Years practice is consistent throughout the day.

Leading Your Room
• Take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of your room
• Lead and support practitioners to deliver consistently high-quality care and education
• Plan engaging experiences around children's interests and developmental needs
• Encourage confidence, curiosity and independence through child-led learning
• Make full use of the nursery's outdoor spaces, including the forest area, mud kitchen and sandpit
• Oversee observations, assessments and children's development records
• Maintain appropriate staffing and ratios within the room
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures are consistently followed
• Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Create an environment where both children and practitioners can thrive
