Summary

We are seeking an exceptional and ambitious Teacher of Maths to join our thriving and highly successful Mathematics team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of the highest-performing secondary schools in the area, joining a strong, supportive department with a proven track record of securing exceptional outcomes for pupils.

Our pupils currently achieve the best combined Grade 5+ English and Maths outcomes in Rotherham, and the school has ranked first place in Rotherham in three of the last four years. Our two most recent progress scores were also the highest in Rotherham and within the top 5% nationally. These outcomes reflect our culture of high expectations, excellent teaching and a shared belief that every pupil can achieve highly.

We are looking for a talented classroom practitioner who is passionate about Mathematics and wants to teach in an environment where great teaching is valued, supported and developed. You will join an established team with strong leadership, a well-developed curriculum and colleagues who work collaboratively to continually improve their practice. Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for your next challenge or an ambitious teacher earlier in your career, you will have opportunities to develop professionally and make a genuine contribution to the continued success of Mathematics.

Above all, we are looking for someone who shares our ambition for our pupils: a teacher who brings Mathematics to life, sets exceptionally high expectations and inspires young people to believe in what they can achieve. If you want to work in a school where pupils achieve highly, colleagues are ambitious for one another and Mathematics is already thriving, we would be delighted to hear from you.
