Summary
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.

Newbold Road is a large, spacious house with one flat and eight en-suite bedrooms in the heart of Chesterfield.
You will be working to support adults with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, non-verbal communication, challenging behaviours, and or autistic spectrum disorders.

What you’ll be doing:
Your role will be to help each person achieve their full potential by supporting them with their daily activities.
Providing personal care and emotional support.
You will be supporting within the service and with accessing the community and will also be taking part in the chosen activities of the people who live with us.
You will be supporting and promoting independence to suit each person’s individual needs.
Weekend and Bank holiday working is required.
Shifts will be 7 or 14 hours long. The earliest shift start time is 6 am, and the latest finish time when not on nights is 9 pm, so you must be sure that you can travel to and from the service for these times.
The occasional night shift will be required, which is 9 pm to 7 am.
