On National Highways’ three-year Finance Graduate Programme, you’ll discover how financial strategy, governance and business services help us manage a £4 billion annual budget and deliver for millions of road users.

Through a series of placements with our specialist teams, you’ll gain hands-on experience and develop your knowledge across areas including:

Financial planning and analysis

Accountancy

Governance and risk management

Estates and operational finance

From managing public funds to supporting investment in infrastructure, you’ll see how finance influences decisions and helps us deliver value across the strategic road network.

By the end of the programme, you’ll have built the skills, experience and confidence to continue your career with us as a finance professional and shape how we invest, plan and deliver for the future.
